More than two decades have passed since the September 11th attacks on the United States of America. For those old enough, we likely still remember exactly where we were when we first heard the news and saw the (potentially live) footage of the events that unfolded that fateful day. Our hearts went out to all the individuals and families that were affected by these events…and they still do. Our country banded together to help and support those who lost so much.
Even though it is now known as Patriot Day, because a lot of time has gone by since September 11th, 2001, many Americans have either grown up or been born since that time, and there is now a whole generation of people who don’t truly know about the life-changing (and country-changing) events that occurred.
